ANTIQUE GEORGIAN CORAL CLUSTER RING 18CT GOLD CIRCA 1800
This beautiful Georgian 18ct Gold Coral cluster ring is Circa 1800.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
The ring is adorned with a cluster of Corals in a flower like shape.
The central Coral is 3.5ct in size surrounded by smaller Coral stones.
From the depths of the sea, comes the beautiful coral which is produced by tiny life forms.Same as pearls, coral is a water element of fiery colours in shades of ranging from petal pink known as angel skin coral to salmon and velvety red.
The shank and back gallery is set in 18ct Gold.
