ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN SUFFRAGETTE AMETHYST WITCHES HEART BROOCH 15CT GOLD CIRCA 1910
A stunning Edwardian brooch, this piece has been expertly crafted in 15ct Yellow Gold, with a large heart-cut Amethyst at its centre. The heart is ringed with pearls, and each of the points of the crown are tipped with Pearls and a single bright Peridot on the central prong.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
