ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN SUFFRAGETTE 18CT GOLD RING DATED 1905
This gorgeous Edwardian Suffragette ring was created during the struggle for women’s rights, and is set with Green, White and Violet stones which carry the message: Green for give, White for women, and Violet for votes.
The central 0.25ct Amethyst is bordered with four Diamonds, and two 0.20ct Peridots. The stones are set into 18ct Yellow Gold, which is fully hallmarked. Although the hallmarks are faded, they identify it as having been made in Birmingham in the United Kingdom in 1905.
It is a lovely example of the style and period, and a historic piece to be treasured.
