ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN PASTE STONE PEARL PENDANT SILVER CIRCA 1910
This beautiful Edwardian Paste Stone and Pearl double heart pendant is, Circa 1910.
This lovely pendant is adorned in sparkling Paste Stones in a double heart gallery, with two Cultured Pearl in-between leading to another Pearl dropper.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.
Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely, lustrous and natural.
The pendant is set in Sterling Silver.
Stamped 900 on the reverse.
This pendant shows fabulous workmanship of it’s time.
Perfect for a special occasion.
Looks wonderful when worn.
It weighs 6.8 grams.
The pendant measures 25mm across x 40mm down.
