A fine Antique Edwardian Suffragette curb bracelet made up of solid 15ct Yellow Gold links and decorated with a combination of rich green Peridot’s, violet Amethyst’s and creamy Pearls.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The box clasp is stamped 15ct and complete with a safety chain for added security when worn.
