A beautiful antique Arts and Crafts bracelet decorated with Moonstones and halos of blue Paste Stones. The Arts and Crafts movement advocated a revival of traditional handicrafts in the late 19th century and used romantic, folk decoration with an influx of colour and sparkle to counteract the rather mechanised industrialisation of modern design. The Moonstones have a lovely ghostly hue and a luminous surface similar to that of Moonlight. They are said to be a magical stone providing a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom. The piece is all Sterling Silver and beautifully engraved with floral decoration around each stone. A fabulous bracelet that looks wonderful around the wrist.
