ANTIQUE BELLE EPOQUE BLUE ZIRCON PEARL PENDANT NECKLACE 15CT GOLD CIRCA 1910
This fabulous antique Belle Epoque Lavaliere necklace is from the Edwardian era, Circa 1910.
The Belle Époque, or the ‘Beautiful era’ spanned three distinct jewellery periods from 1890 -1915. This was a time of increasing wealth and flourishing arts across western society with Belle Epoque pieces worn as a sign of wealth and status.
The necklace features a lovely pendulum dropper set with a 0.65ct blue Zircon surrounded by a halo of natural Pearls with a small 0.08ct Diamond at the top.
In the middle ages the Blue Zircon was said to bring prosperity and promote honor and wisdom in its owner. It is also the birth stone for December.
The Pendant is stamped 15ct Yellow Gold and fitted to a Silver chain.
A wonderful antique piece and perfect for a wedding or special occasion.
