This very beautiful genuine Art Deco Sterling Silver necklace is set with beautiful blue enamel workmanship and Marcasite’s.

The bright turquoise enamelling colour strikes through the Silver workmanship, with a central Marcasite bow and deco detail.

All set in Sterling Silver.

Circa 1920.

Marcasite jewellery has been made since the time of the Ancient Greeks.

It was particularly popular in the eighteenth century, the Victorian era and with Art Nouveau jewellery designers.

Marcasite's are also known as Black Diamonds. They sparkle and shimmer just like real Diamonds.

A closed back gallery in Silver, this is genuine Art Deco.

The necklace has been tested as Sterling Silver.

Looks lovely when worn around the neck and sparkles beautifully.

Steeped in English history purchased in London.

Measures 18 inches around the neck.

The dropper measures 5.5cm down x 2cm across.
