ANTIQUE ART DECO LARGE BLUE WHITE PASTE BROOCH FABULOUS LARGE SPRAY SILVER
This fabulous Art Deco 1920's Vintage spray brooch is set in Sterling Silver.
The brooch depicts a large bow and bouquet of flowers with beautiful workmanship throughout.
The flowers are adorned with beautiful Bristol blue coloured Paste Stones and white Paste Stones which sparkle just like Diamonds.
Paste stones are set into the lovely bow too.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.
Fully hallmarked on the reverse 935 which is the old Silver mark.
A safety catch has been added to secure the pin in position.
This brooch is quite large and looks fabulous on a lapel.
Steeped in English history and purchased in London.
Weighs 27.6 grams.
Measures 6.5cm across x 4.5cm down.
Each Paste flower measures 16mm across x 16mm down.
Excellent all round condition.
