This wonderful Victorian Amethyst bug brooch is set in Silver, circa 1880.

The brooch is handmade, and is decorated in over 10ct of natural Amethyst’s.

The bug has 2 Pearls set as his eyes leading to an Amethyst head, an Amethyst body and Pearls set into his wings.

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and legendary powers to stimulate, and soothe, the mind and emotions.

Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely lustrous and natural.

Set in Silver, this brooch boasts wonderful craftsmanship all round.

It is fitted with a secure pin and C catch.

This look beautiful when worn, it is stepped in history.

It weighs 8.6 grams.

The brooch measures 40mm across x 20mm down.
